How does the AI scanner estimate value?
It identifies the item from your photo and what you tell it about condition, then gives an AI estimate of what similar items typically sell for second-hand in the UK or US. It doesn't look up live sold listings, so check recent sold prices for anything valuable. How our estimates work.
Do I have to be a reseller?
No. Choose Selling something I own to see what an item's worth and what you'd keep after fees, or Buying to resell to add a purchase price and see profit and ROI.
Which countries and marketplaces does it cover?
The UK (£) and the US ($). Fees are modelled for eBay (UK private, UK business and US), Vinted UK, Depop, Poshmark and local Facebook Marketplace sales — plus a custom option for anywhere else.
Does it only work for clothes?
No. You can value electronics, games, toys, homeware, cameras, books, collectibles and more.
Do you store my photos?
No. Photos are sent to our AI provider to identify the item and aren't saved by Resale Checker. The price you'd pay is never sent. See our privacy policy.
