Depop fees for sellers

Depop no longer charges a selling fee in the UK or US. What you do pay is a payment processing fee on the total the buyer pays (item plus postage):

RegionSelling feePayment processing
UK0%2.9% + £0.30
US0%3.3% + $0.45

If you boost a listing and it sells, Depop charges a separate boosting fee — add it under "Other costs".

What sells on Depop?

Depop's audience skews younger and fashion-led: vintage and Y2K pieces, streetwear, sportswear, designer and statement items. Styled photos (worn or flat-lay with good light) matter more here than on eBay. If an item is plain or practical, Vinted or eBay may sell it faster.

Postage on Depop

You can use Depop's shipping options or post items yourself. Either way, postage paid by the buyer counts toward the payment processing fee, so the calculator includes it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Depop take 10%?

Not any more in the UK or US — the 10% selling fee was removed in 2024. You still pay a payment processing fee on each sale.

Is the processing fee charged on postage?

Yes. It's charged on the total the buyer pays, which includes postage.

Is Depop or Vinted better for resellers?

Vinted has no seller fee and a huge UK audience, so it's often better for everyday branded clothing. Depop can command higher prices for vintage, streetwear and trend-led pieces. Many resellers cross-list on both.
